Casting Crowns gets 'crazy' about Jesus in new single

Mark Hall, frontman of Casting Crowns, recently sat down and shared his thoughts behind one of their new songs 'Crazy People.'

"If you've walked with Jesus for a little while, you've probably discovered, people look at us like we're a little different," says Hall in a YouTube video, sharing the story behind the song.

The single is on Casting Crowns' new album Healer, released January 14.

Tauren Wells's new single 'Fake It' is upbeat, full of life, dancing, and also features Aaron Cole. 

"Writing this song was one of the funnest days I’ve ever had in the studio," says Wells on Facebook. "I remember that we were all talking about some of the life stuff we were all dealing with and pushing through and then Chris turned on the beginning of this track and it was like a joy bomb went off in the room!"

The music video is a fully choreographed dance routine with upbeat, pop sounds.  

Finding Jesus in an autobody shop

At 26, Baylor Wilson has already lived a life most people only dream about – excelling at competitive cheerleading, starring in Season 29 of CBS’s Survivor, scoring a country music publishing deal – all before graduating from college.  

But according to Baylor, these life-making moments were just a precursor to the abundant life she found when she met Jesus. When asked what exactly happened that prompted her to start writing songs about Jesus, she joyfully exclaims, “Jesus happened.”
