Christine Soule’s life was a jumbled pile of broken pieces. Her father was married seven times; her mother four times.
Between her parents’ divorce when she was 5 years old and the day she allowed the power and presence of God into her heart, she watched her sister have an affair with her adoptive father; met 15 siblings she never knew at her biological father’s funeral; turned to drugs and alcohol; got pregnant at 17; had twins less than two years later; and became a victim of human trafficking.

TobyMac's latest single is an homage to his family and the life that they lived.
"I am writing music right now. That's pretty much all I've been doing," says TobyMac on a Facebook Live video on the single's release date. "That's always my hope, that God will use the song to turn people's eyes towards Him. Before every song I write, I pray before we record and ask God to breathe something through me."
This past Friday TobyMac released a new single 'Promise Land,' and in the video, he portrays a coal miner.
Christian bands, artists, preparing for Christmas season
It may still be summer, but a Christian band is letting it snow.
On Friday evening, Sidewalk Prophets announced their Great Big Family Christmas tour. The band, which calls their fans the "Great Big Family" says their United States events begin in December.

Lavished in Grace: In sickness and in health
Leilanie and Michael met when they were just 15 years old. Twelve years later they got engaged. But as they were preparing for their wedding, something seemed off with Michael.
He began tripping over himself and lost sight in one of his eyes. He met with his family doctor who insisted he see a neurologist.
After running numerous tests, Michael's doctor called and told him he needed to come in to hear the results.
Scribe on new music, new churches, new job
While the world may have been on pause, a Manitoban is catching his breath after a busy year.
Troy Lydiate, also known as Scribe Music, moved to the Vancouver area with his family in January of 2020 to plant a church in the heart of the city. A year and a half later, that church, as well as a second church plant, is thriving.
"It has been an absolute ride, and incredible ride, that's for sure," Lydiate says.
He has found there is a hunger for the gospel, brought forth even more so the pandemic.

Skillet released the first single off their new album on Wednesday, called 'Surviving the Game.' The song leans heavily on the band's initial rock roots, hitting fans hard with guitar and drums.
Hope when it's hard: A story of adoption
Adoption was something that Jennifer Phillips and her husband had always talked about, but it was quite some time before they actually took the steps to make it happen.
After graduating from college, Phillips worked at a Christian crisis pregnancy centre. She says it was there she got to see adoption from the birth mother's side and her passion and heart for adoption grew from there.
Elevation Worship continues to 'Rattle' the charts
Based out of Charlotte, NC, the band Elevation Worship is lighting up the charts with their singles.
The group based out of Elevation Church has the most nominations for this years GMA Dove Awards. Many of the nominations are based on their single 'Graves into Gardens' which hit No. 1 on the charts earlier this year.
Just this week, their single 'Rattle!', released April 15, hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
IJM helping create lasting change for women and children in Uganda
International Justice Mission (IJM) is sharing the strides they're making for abused women in the country of Uganda.
"We’re celebrating the opening of a new survivor-friendly interview space and shelter for women and children who are victims of violence in Uganda," says IJM on Instagram.
The Christian ministry's mission is to help people escape human trafficking, while also helping to prevent it and counsel those coming out of it.
