A missionary working in Lebanon says that thousands of people are choosing a relationship with Jesus every single day, one year after a devastating explosion in the city of Beirut.

On Aug 4, 2020, the city of Beirut Lebanon was rocked by a devastating explosion. Over 200 people were killed, thousands injured, and there were billions of dollars in property damage leaving an estimated 300,000 people homeless.

Christians are being called to reflect on their connection between Canadian and Christian identities.

Gospel powerhouse Jekalyn Carr is teaming up as she is featured on the new version of Leanna Crawford's 'Mean Girls.'

At the end of April in 2021, Crawford released her single 'Mean Girls' along with her six-song EP. On July 23, she released a new version, featuring Jekalyn Carr.

"I was thrilled when Jekalyn said she would sing on this song and I love how it turned out," Crawford posts to Facebook the day of the release.

The upcoming Christian artist worked with Matthew West in 2020 before she was signed to his label, Story House Collective.

On the heels of releasing a new album, Needtobreathe is announcing a feature film coming this fall. 

"In case you missed it, we've teamed up with Greenwich Entertainment to release the Into The Mystery documentary," posts the band on Facebook.

The rock band fueled by their faith created an album in three weeks. They moved a recording studio into a remote home in Tennessee during the pandemic. What came out of it was an album and a film.

After a trying year of battling cancer, the new CEO of the Joy Smith Foundation is ready to take the reigns.

Janet Campbell is the new CEO and President of the Joy Smith Foundation, taking over the role of her mother, Joy Smith. 

"This has been a lifelong work of hers. The transition allows her to have more time to focus on survivors and programming, while I can help grow the organization and support her," says Campbell.

Helping end and fight human trafficking has been a family affair for all the Smiths.
