Texas megachurch fires pastor after he confessed to 'moral failings'

While the details are unknown, a megachurch pastor in Frisco, Texas, has been terminated after he confessed to a 'moral failure.'

Stonebriar Community Church is a non-denominational church that fired long-time pastor Tony Cammarota.

"On Sunday afternoon July 7th, Pastor Tony Cammarota confessed to church leadership of a moral failure," the church leadership posted in a statement emailed to the congregation. "He is deeply remorseful, but his sin disqualifies him from serving on our staff as a pastor."

A mother with four children has been left a widow after some neighbour men broke in and killed a Christian father in Pakistan. 

Marshall, his wife Mehdi, along with one son and three daughters live in Patiala House Race Course Kachi Abadi in Lahore, Pakistan. Marshall's father, Yaqoob Masih, shared details of the murder with the Centre for Legal Aid, Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS). 

"Two Muslim boys, our neighbours Shani and Azam, entered our house from the roof at around 4:20 a.m. They came in with two unknown accomplices."

Before midnight, the eye of the storm had passed through and no deaths have been reported in Jamaica.

Professional baseball player gets baptized on field after game

A Nashville baseball crowd recently witnessed the lengths one player went to publicly share his faith in God. 

Minor league baseball player for the Nashville Sounds, Wes Clarke, turned a Saturday baseball game into a church service recently. 

The Sounds played the Memphis Redbirds on July 6 and won 4-1. After the win, a tub was brought out on the field and Clarke was baptized right there.
