The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Rita Legault will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 1850 Springs Gate, Swift Current, Sk. Following the lunch, Rita will be laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery in Ponteix, Sk.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Meadows Care Home in Swift Current for their care and support during Rita’s stay with them and especially during this difficult time

Mr. William Zeller passed away suddenly at Pennant, SK. on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.

It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of George Frederick Weinbender on March 3, 2025, at Swift Current Hospital, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

A celebration of George’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8th at Parkside Funeral Home located at 69, 4th Avenue NE in Swift Current. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Swift Current SPCA or the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS).

Paul Klippenstein entered Heaven and ‘was gathered to his people’ on February 20, 2025. Paul was born to John E. and Helena Klippenstein on a farm near Main Centre, SK on August 28, 1931. He attended Goethe School and later finished his grade 10 and a year of Bible school at Herbert Bible School. As a teenager, dad confirmed his faith in water baptism, an event that was very significant in his life.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Nick Wall of Swift Current, SK will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Mennonite Church with a reception to follow at Riverview Village Estates – Great Room 1101 2nd Ave. S.E. Swift Current, SK.

The Private Family interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery prior to the service.

Donations in memory of Nick can be made to the Diabetes Association.

The family of Robert Reimche are saddened to announce his passing on February 22, 2025, at the age of 74. He passed peacefully with his family by his side at the Herbert Integrated Health Care Facility, Herbert, SK. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastside Church of God.

The memorial service to honour the life of Mrs. Betty Menzies will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home with Chaplain Bob Cappelle officiating. A reception will take place in the chapel after the service and the interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

John “Babe” Ham est. 1936 - Sadly we announce that dad’s sunset ride concluded December 22, 2024 at the age of 88.

With his mother Julia’s passing, he was orphaned at the age of 82. When he was 9 his father Herbert passed away. He was also predeceased by stepfather Alvin, one adult brother Roy, four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and his wife Joyce.
