The Interment of
Dorothy Mary Elmgren (May 31, 1931 – Dec 21, 2020)
and
Rodney Oliver Elmgren (July 30, 1926 - Sep 13, 2023)
will take place on Saturday June 22, 2024, at 12 PM, at the Hillcrest Cemetery Columbarium in Swift Current, SK.

The Elmgren’s have given great support to the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation, with a recent donation of over $4 million following their passing, so any donations in their memory made to the Noble Irwin Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

The family of Joan Poh are saddened to announce her passing on June 1st, 2024, at the age of 62, at the Cypress Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home the family would appreciate if those coming could wear something yellow or unicorn/hummingbird accessories.

A family interment service will take place in July at the Ernfold Cemetery, Ernfold, SK.

The family of Steven Lloyd Monk are saddened to announce his passing on May 19, 2024, at the Maple Creek Integrated Facility Hospital at the age of 58.

Darcy Brown – passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 82, with his loving wife Diane and family by his side at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current.

Darcy will be interred at the Gull Lake Cemetery on Tuesday, May 28th, friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life reception to follow at 2 PM, at the Elks Hall in Gull Lake (2390 Proton Ave).

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Lorraine Unger of Swift Current Sk. She passed away comfortably and peacefully on May 16 2024 at the Herbert Integrated Health Facility(Herbert Nursing Home). She was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on April 21, 1935. Sylvia is survived by her two sons Keith and Craig(Jackie), two grandchildren Randi(Ryan) Colton(Vanessa) and three great grandchildren Silas, Oliver and Zoe Falk.

She was predeceased by her husband Reynold(Rennie), father William(Bill) T. Bender and mother Lydia Bender.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Helen Carol Miller, of Swift Current on the 14th of May, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years Glenn; children: Shawn (Lori) and Wendy. Grandchildren: Danielle, Kirby, Morgan, Trystan and Tyler; great grandchild; Drayken.

She will also be dearly missed by her brother Ken Anderson (Marguerite); as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

William Neil Barr passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2024, at the Herbert Integrated Facility, at age 97.

A private family interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Swift Current and the celebration of life service will take place in the summer with further details to be announced as the time approaches.

Susan Wiebe passed away May 1st, 2024, at The Meadows in Swift Current, SK, at age 91. God will be looking after her in heaven now and she’ll no longer be dealing with earthly pains.

Her funeral service will take place Wednesday May 8th at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, 69 4th Ave NE, at 2 PM.

FUNK - Clayton passed away April 23/2024 in Leinan Sask. at age 50. He was born Nov.24/1973 in Swift Current, SK. He is survived by parents Wayne and Florence Funk and sister Carrie Funk. He worked construction and as a farm hand. He liked fishing, camping, working with his hands and helping his friends. He will be missed by family and friends.

A Family Gathering will be held at a later date.
