Pure Joy Naturals is a family-owned Southern Manitoba company that specializes in natural health care products, herbal remedies and essential oils.

The company also enriches the community with its mentorship and in-house "Community of Kindness" initiative.

The hearts and minds behind Pure Joy Naturals belong to Rob and Coral Fehr, both Certified Aromatherapists with as much knowledge about the natural product field as experience in it.

Prairie Watershed Climate Program (PWCP)

The Prairie Watershed Climate Program (PWCP) provides funding to producers who implement any of these three eligible beneficial management practices (BMPs) on their farm – cover cropping, nitrogen management, or rotational grazing. Within each category, there are various practices that are qualified to receive funding. BMPs have many positive outcomes such as storing carbon, reducing greenhouse gases, improving biodiversity, and increasing the profitability of your farm.

“Mine tailings are pretty toxic environments – but this particular site had plants growing on it! In my master’s degree, I found that the microbial community was the driving force that determined which plants grew where on this contaminated site. So, I wanted to invent a product that would help make plants at contaminated sites grow better, help plants grow in an urban environment, and help agriculture.”
