It's time for Twitter Tuesday!  I find the best Tweets from the Twitterati.

Timely on a Tuesday after a long weekend, this guy says, "I wish my dog could tell me what it's like to wake up happy."

Here's a friend who shares, "I never finish anything.  I have a black belt in Partial Arts."

A Friday off work, a round of golf, a group of friends and colleagues (some with better handicaps than others) and a sunny day (hopefully) – could there be a better way to support healthcare in the community? 

My husband and I took a trip to Sooke, BC and as this was our first time there we toured around the island and marvelled at God’s beautiful creation!  The majestic trees, towering mountains, the Gold Stream Salmon Run, the rich fall colours which all declared God’s Handiwork.   Scripture tells us; “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork. “ Psalm 19:1 ESV.  There is no beauty like that found in the world God created. 

It’s not often that rural Manitobans are given priority in any regard, in fact, it is exceedingly rare. So, the fact that Xplore has put us on the priority list for its 5G service is both an unexpected and pleasant surprise.

There will be short Purple Shield Presentations at 11:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. if you would like to attend at those specific times. Our rep, Denine Hanson will be available all day for any questions you might have as well.

Eldon Wallman is picking a side: he is “pro-mulching”.

“It's one of the better things you can do for your lawn at home,” he says. “It’s a much better alternative to putting bags of grass at the end of your driveway.”

As the Head of Solid Waste for the City of Steinbach, Wallman and his team are encouraging citizens to mulch their lawns instead of bagging clippings. It’s all part of a greater effort to create healthier landfills across North America.
