Richard Ernest Knights

Richard Ernest Knights aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on the 23rd of October 2024.  He is now with the love of his life Margaret as they walk on the golden road to Heaven, holding each other's hand as they have done for over 65 years.  Richard was surrounded by his loving daughter in the last hours of life.   

Christopher Phillip Hoyes

Christopher Phillip Hoyes was born in Moose Jaw, SK on December 19th, 1947, to Ruth and Jim Hoyes.  On Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, at the age of 76 years, Chris passed away at home, which was his wish, with his wife Nancy by his side.  He fought a long and difficult illness which began with a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma followed by a gradual but unyielding progression of neuropathy that took over much of his body.  He was always willing to try a treatment that might help, though none of them ever did.  Even so he tried to enjoy as much of life as he could and never lost his innate

Sharon Lucille Williams

Sharon Lucille Williams aged 79 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Friday, October 25th, 2024.  Sharon was born in Moose Jaw on December 29th, 1944, to Claude and Agnes Depper.   

Sharon married Clifford Halverson in August of 1965 and together they had two children, Darren and Bonnie.  Later, she married Thomas Williams, and this union brought together their two families. 

Sharon enjoyed crocheting, curling, and socializing, and especially loved to attend dances at the Cosmo Centre. 

Gary Hoskins

It is with sadness the family announce the passing of Gary C. “Hos” Hoskins with his wife by his side on October 26, 2024, at the age of 76.

Gary served in various disciplines during his distinguished 33 ½ year career with the RCMP. He was very proud of his career, and his coworkers held him in the highest regard. He loved gardening, fishing and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

A Private Family Interment for Anna Dyck will take place at the Rosenhof Cemetery.

A come and go luncheon will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Riverview Estates.

Helen Klassen, 89, of Steinbach passed away Saturday, October 26th at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. She is survived by her husband John, 1 daughter, 3 sons, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and their families. She was predeceased by 1 sister, 1 sister-in-law, and 2 brothers-in-law. 
The funeral service for Helen Klassen will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery.

Margaret Graefer, 95, of Portage La Prairie formerly of Winkler, passed away Friday, October 25th at Douglas Campbell Lodge. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers. 
A memorial service for Margaret Graefer will be held Wednesday, October 30th at 1pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Winkler with burial prior to the service.

Rothwell, Florence Margaret (Elmslie)

With heavy hearts, we, the children of Florence Margaret (Elmslie) Rothwell, announce her passing on October 24, 2024, at the age of 93. Born April 29, 1931, Mom was a vibrant spirit who lived life to the fullest. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where we will gather to share memories and honor the remarkable woman she was.
