The Public Graveside Service for the late Donna Fuller Gitlarski of Lethbridge and formerly of Shaunavon will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from Hillcrest Cemetery in Shaunavon. A Luncheon in honor of Donna Fuller Gitlarski will follow at Prairie Sky Estates, 525 5th Avenue East in Shaunavon. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements. Ryan Kent Huffman

HUFFMAN 

Ryan Kent Huffman Of Moose Jaw, passed away suddenly on October 15/2024 in Courtney BC. 

Born June 30/1971 in MJ to Carol and Terry Huffman. 

Ryan's work was also his love: Cooking, which led him to travel extensively throughout Ontario and western Canada.  

Ryan enjoyed the outdoors, plants, flowers and being around people.  He definitely had the gift of gab!  

Ryan will be laid to rest by the family at a later date. 

Frederick (Freddie) William Smith

SMITH 

Frederick William Smith (Freddie) aged 91 years of Courval, SK, passed away on Monday, October 21st, 2024.  Freddie was born on the “Beautiful Shores” of Old Wives Lake, SK to Fred and Edith Smith on August 27th, 1933.  He married Donna Boyton from the neighbouring community of Lillestrom, SK on October 20th, 1962.

John T. Friesen, 75, of Morden passed away Tuesday, October 22nd at Boundary Trails Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Betty, 2 daughters, 3 sons and their families.
The funeral service for John T. Friesen will be held Friday, October 25th at 2pm at Chortitz Old Colony with burial at the church cemetery.

Helen Marie Doerksen, 88, of Winnipeg formerly of Altona, passed away Friday, October 18th at Grace Hospital. She is survived by her husband Dave, 3 daughters, 1 sister-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, and their families. She was predeceased by 1 sister and 1 brother.

Freeman Chow

It is with sadness the family announce the passing of Freeman Chow on October 20, 2024. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sandra; son Richard and his children Avery and Nolan; daughter Tina (Daniel) and their son Matthew. Edward Adam Silzer

Edward Adam Silzer aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, with family by his side.  Ed was born January 31st, 1936, to Charlie and Elsie Silzer in his family farm home in Lakenheath district in southern Saskatchewan.  He was raised in a blended family of 16.  Ed worked in the plumbing industry for 60+ years, with various other jobs along the way.   

Mr. Albert Wilson

It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Albert Wilson, age 105 years old, announce his passing on October 21, 2024 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Royal Canadian Legion in Swift Current, Saskatchewan with Sandra Watson officiating. Lynnette Houston (Daughter) read the eulogy. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Albert’s Grandchildren. A private family interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Friday, November 1, 2024.
