It is with sadness and broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Kennedy Maxwell Elk July 28, 2024 resident of Dakota Tipi First Nation. Age 36.

Fond memories and thoughts of him will forever be with us, as he starts his journey to the Spirit World.

Norman, Stanley Gerald

Stanley Gerald Norman, late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan born, August 22, 1952, passed away, August 2, 2024 at the age of 71 years. A Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held on Monday, August 12th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Alverta Laskey officiating. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date.

October 8, 1957 - August 3, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin Glen Farncombe, who left us on August 3, 2024, in Winnipeg at the age of 66. Born in Portage La Prairie, Kevin spent his life appreciating the pleasures of family and friends.

Kevin was raised in High Bluff working alongside his family at Farncombe’s General Store. At the age of 18, Kevin ventured out west to Alberta where he built a meaningful career in the oil and gas industry for 45 years.

Richard “Tricky” Laframboise

Richard “Tricky” Laframboise

Tricky was one of 15 children born to Alcide and Cecelia of North Bay, Ontario.

He was predeceased by his daughter Michelle, his parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

He is now survived by son Michael, and grandkids Alex and Kelsy, 3 brothers and 4 sisters, and wife Lynne of 48 years.

Noel Blanchette passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in Moose Jaw, SK. Noel was born on December 13, 1929, in Gravelbourg, SK. He lived and farmed in the Courval district for 85 years. Noel married Jeannine O’Reilly of Scout Lake, SK, on July 18, 1959, at St. Victor, SK. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last month. They were blessed with five children: Gilbert, Richard, Denis, Suzanne, and René.

ROMANKEWICZ – Loretta it was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta Romankewicz on August 1, 2024 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Funeral Home.

The interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.
