James Joseph Mulligan

July 19, 1926 – April 12, 2025

Peacefully, with family by his side, Jim Mulligan, beloved husband of the late Helen Mulligan, passed away at Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 98 years.

Linda Louise Leonhart  (nee Tenszen)

Linda Leonhart was a loving daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, aunty, and grandmother. She passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2025, at age of 70 years. More than anything, Linda will be remembered for how deeply she cared—for her family, her friends, and pretty much anyone lucky enough to cross her path.

Trudy Friesen nee Peters, 85, of Winkler passed away Monday, April 14th at Salem Home. She is survived by 1 son. She was predeceased by her husband Reverend David Friesen.  
A memorial service for Trudy Friesen nee Peters will be held Wednesday, April 16th at 2pm at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church with burial prior to the service at Blumenort Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler Tuesday, April 15th from 1 to 7pm.

Larry Edmunds Obituary

1948 ~ 2025 (age 76)

It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Edmunds announce his passing on Thursday. April 10, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

Beloved husband of the late Sue Edmunds, and father of Terry (Kim) Edmunds, Tracy (John) Fries, Tanner (Selena) Edmunds, Travis Edmunds and Trevor Edmunds.

He was also a cherished grandfather and great grandfather to many.

There will be a public visitation on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. from the Kindersley Funeral Home Chapel, Kindersley, SK.

The family of Heather Lynn Johnson of the Craik Health Centre in Saskatchewan, are saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, at the age of 68 years, after a nearly 30-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Heather was born on June 4th, 1956, to parents Robert and Joyce Bruce of Tuxford, SK.  She attended elementary school in Tuxford, and Lindale, and then Peacock High School in Moose Jaw, SK.  After high school, Heather worked as a Group Activities Aid at Valley View Centre in Moose Jaw until 1979. 

Katherine ‘Kay’ (née Bogner) Michel
October 8, 1927 – April 9, 2025

The Service of Remembrance of the late longtime Shaunavon resident, Mona Mitchell will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. from the Former Centre Street United Church in Shaunavon with Reverend Ken Schrag officiating. Interment for the late Mona Mitchell will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery at Shaunavon. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral Date: April 15, 2025 
Anna Peters nee Penner, 94, of Morden formerly of Osterwick, passed away Thursday April 10th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Peters. 
The funeral service for Anna Peters nee Penner will be held Tuesday, April 15th at 2pm at Maranatha Christian Fellowship Church Winkler with burial at Chapel Cemetery Morden.  
Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden Monday, April 14th from 1 to 8pm. 

It is with great sadness the family of Thelma Pleckham (nee Pribyl) of Swift Current, Saskatchewan announce her passing on April 10, 2025 at the age of 87 years old. At Thelma’s request, there will be no funeral service at this time. A small private gathering will take place at a later date.

The family of Dixie Lee Lott are saddened to announce her passing on April 10, 2025, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday April 17th, at 2 PM, at the Kincaid Club 50 Hall on Main Street.
