Church in Shaunavon with Reverend Father Melchor Samonté officiating. Interment for the late Therese Mellor will take place at St. Mary’s R. C. Cemetery at Shaunavon. Our hearts are filled with sorrow and gratitude as we announce George’s passing in Leader on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.  After experiencing a debilitating stroke on Boxing Day, 2019, George spent the last 2 ½ years living in the Leader Care Home.  Delores and the rest of the family are very appreciative of the kindness and compassionate care George received from the many nurses and aides who tended to George’s many needs.

George was born on the family farm south of Fox Valley on September 14, 1930.  He attended school in Fox Valley.
