House of David renewed for Season 2 after successful debut
Thanks to its recent success, a new show that showcases King David's life will get a second season.
Within the first 17 days of its debut, House of David, a Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios project directed by Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn, had reached over 22 million viewers. It is also among the top 10 series debuts in the U.S. to date.
Season one of House of David shares the story of the rise of David, while Season two follows the aftermath of the battle of David and Goliath and David's rise to the throne.
Brandon Lake fulfills childhood dream with special performance
Brandon Lake had a childhood dream come true over the weekend.
The Christian singer and songwriter travelled to Savannah, Georgia on Saturday to sing a duet with the Rascal Flatts.

In June 2024, Wilmore and fellow astronaut Suni Williams were launched into space as the first humans to ride a Boeing Starliner spacecraft. The entire trip should have been 7 days but because of aircraft complications, the two were stranded on the International Space Station for nine months. Willaims and Wilmore finally came back to Earth, alongside two other astronauts, landing in the Gulf of Mexico on Mar. 18, 2025.

Canada updates U.S., China travel advisories after recent frictions
Canadians are now facing updated travel advisories to the world's two largest economies, after Ottawa warned travellers who stay in the United States for more than 30 days to make sure they register as required.
The advisory for the United States follows another update for travel to China, where Canadians with dual citizenship have been warned to use Canadian credentials when presenting to Chinese authorities.
Carney calls April 28 election, parties kick off campaigns
The leaders vying to become Canada's next prime minister are officially kicking off their campaigns today, vowing to strengthen Canada's economy and stand up to U.S. President Donald Trump.
Liberal Leader Mark Carney has confirmed a federal election will be called on April 28, speaking outside Rideau Hall after requesting Parliament be dissolved.
Carney will be running in the Ottawa riding of Nepean.
The Nepean riding has been held by Liberal MP Chandra Arya for the last decade, but the party recently revoked his nomination.
