Psalm 27:8; Psalm 91:1

Genesis 6

The longer we walk with the Lord, the more we realize that we really don't know what each new day may bring. A phone call can come in the middle of the night shattering our joy. Suddenly everything changes. It's amazing what a knock at the door can bring or what the opening of a letter can do. 

I don't say these things to conjure up fear in our hearts, but simply to remind us that God alone knows our future. And there's no safer, no better, no more rewarding place to be than in the nucleus of His will, regardless of where that may be. 

On November 28, 2024, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of several incidents over the past week involving students at the Energetic Learning Campus in Fort St John. The incidents appear to involve a small group of students being targeted by another group. Fort St John RCMP frontline members attended the Energetic Learning Campus and initiated an investigation, speaking with victims and staff.

On Nov. 28, 2024, at approximately 4 a.m., Valleyview RCMP responded to fatal two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 43 in Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, Alta. Highway 43 was closed for several hours as emergency crews were responding on scene.

Both vehicles involved have been identified and we are continuing to investigate the incident.

A 31-year-old male was located deceased on the scene.

The RCMP send their condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
