In what could arguably be the biggest comeback, it appears the Cheeto statue from Cheadle has made a surprise return in Calgary.

Reddit user iAmClaytonator posted this photo in the Calgary subreddit, where he says the Cheeto is being set up in Calgary on 1st Street 12th Avenue.

An accident on Highway 1 at Range Road 211 east of Gleichen has resulted in one lane of eastbound traffic on the highway to be closed by Gleichen RCMP.

The accident occurred at around 10:00 am this morning.

There is no timeline for when the eastbound lane will reopen, but westbound traffic remains open.

At around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 20, Chestermere RCMP were dispatched to a robbery at a local pharmacy on Merganser Drive. 

It is believed that the vehicle used in the robbery was the same vehicle used in an Airdrie pharmacy robbery, which occurred just prior to this one at 1:40 p.m. The licence plate obtained in the Airdrie robbery was Alberta licence plate CFM 3654.
