It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the unexpected passing of Roy Duncan on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, at the age of 85 years, with his wife and children by his side.  A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend, Roy touched the lives of so many.  His legacy of love for his family, a zest for life, genuine relationships with friends, and gentleness of spirit will be forever cherished by those who knew him. 

Carol Ann Watson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Watson, who passed away peacefully at Pioneer Lodge in Palliative Care on Thursday, July 11th, 2024, in Moose Jaw, SK.

Carol was born on September 1st, 1954, in Moose Jaw, SK.  She worked in the laundry department at St. Anthony’s from 1973 until its closure, and moved to laundry at Providence Place until 2007, then transferred to Pioneer Lodge to work in housekeeping until 2009, at which point she retired as she could no longer work due to a brain aneurism.

Cornelius Edward Penner

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cornelius “Cornie” Edward Penner, announce his passing on the morning of Friday, July 12th, 2024.

Cornie was born February 9th, 1934, to Abraham and Elizabeth (née: Dueck) Penner on Sec. 7, TWP 20, Range 7 West of the 3rd, Saskatchewan.  He was the third child in a family of nine.

With deeply broken hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Ryan Patrick Sullivan of Calgary, AB on Thursday, June 27th, 2024. Born to Pat and Marilyn Sullivan in Moose Jaw, SK on December 12th, 1975, Ryan attended Palliser Heights elementary school and Central Collegiate.

Our hero, Tyler James Morin, born on August 26th, 1994, left this world on Friday, June 28th, 2024, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Douglas Clubbe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Clubbe of Central Butte, SK, on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, at the age of 88 years.  Doug was the only child of Amos and Edna Clubbe, born on July 15th, 1935, in Chaplin, SK.

Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  His true passion was to be a farmer, which he started at the age of 15 and continued until his retirement.  Doug was proud of the fact that he became a land baron at the age of 10 years old when his Grandpa Eugene passed away.

Iver Lee Joseph Smith

Iver Lee Joseph Smith aged 88 years of Briercrest, SK, passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, in Moose Jaw, SK.  Iver was a man of few words but when he spoke, everyone took note.  He was born in Chaplin, SK to Wilhelmina and John Smith and attend school in Central Butte, SK.  Iver chose to join the Air Force to serve his country after completing his studies, and he was a proud serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
