Roberta Mae Passmore aged 96 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. Roberta was born in Moose Jaw and remained in the area all her life. She married Mel Passmore in November 1945, and they spent a happy 66 years together until his passing in 2012. Roberta and Mel had two sons, Dick and Rob. Her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

Melvin was born in Central Butte on April 21st, 1950, to George and Grace Shooter. He grew up on the family farm south of Riverhurst, SK with his siblings Allan, Barbara, and Carolyn. In 1956 he started his education at Calderbank School and finished in Riverhurst. Melvin moved to Calgary, AB at the age of 18, where he worked construction.
