Gwen Elizabeth Ferguson-O’Brien aged 86 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, with family by her side.  Gwen will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Kandy Denne (Vern); son, Terry Ferguson (Leslie); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jack; sons, Randy and Roddy; daughter, Penny; and second husband, Roy O’Brien.

Leslie Margaret Fielding (née: Johnston) passed away in the early morning of Monday, January 15th, 2024, with her loving husband by her side, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. 

Patty Lou Michael

Patty Lou Michael passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, in Moose Jaw, SK, with her husband Laird at her side, due to complications of pneumonia and polymyositis.  She was predeceased by her father, Glenn Welsh and mother, Beth Rimell.  Patty is survived by her husband, Laird; son, Ken (Leslie), grandchildren Nona, Domino and Zackery; son, Shawn; sisters, Nancy Welsh and Judy Klyne; brother-in-law, Barrie Michael (Carol); and sister-in-law, Lynne Jones (Jerry).

Alice May Keir

Alice May Keir (née: Erickson, Munroe) was born in the Darmody, SK district to Mabel and Jack Erickson on September 5th, 1933.  Soon after, Doris (Hooey) was born, she was followed by Shirley (Abrams), who completed the family.  Sadly, Doris passed away in December 2023.  At the age of 16, Alice and her family moved to Moose Jaw, SK so she could go on to high school. 

William "Willie" Albert Anderson

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved William “Willie” Albert Anderson who passed away peacefully in the early morning of Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, with loved ones by his side.

Willie was born in McCord, Saskatchewan on March 9th, 1951.  He was a preemie so spent his first days bundled in a shoe box placed in the oven to keep warm.  He was the second born of 3 sons for Bill and Marie.  The family later moved to Moose Jaw, SK in 1955.

Dorothy Marzolf aged 90 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 in Regency Manor.  She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Andrew Lasota; siblings: Alex, Andrew, and Helen; and son, James.  Dorothy is survived by her children: Helen (Tim), Graham (Shelley), John (Kathleen), Vernon, Laurel (Doug), Donna, David (Geri-Lynn), and Mitchell (Niki); as well her grandchildren: Maya, Seth, Parker, Taylor, Calsy, Alexis, and Sophia.

Lloyd George Elsom

Lloyd George Elsom aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.  George was born in March of 1936 and was a farmer for his entire life, farming at Boharm, SK.  Later in his life, he received his Certificate for Carpentry and went to work for C&S Construction and the Moose Jaw Union Hospital.  George was an avid hunter and enjoyed getting together with his friends and family.  During his time at Moose Jaw Special Care home, George liked to feed the birds and squirrels through his window.
