With sadness, love, and profound gratitude, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend, Cyril Downton.  Cyril was born on April 24th, 1927 in Mortlach, SK.  On April 20th, 2023 Cyril made the journey to reunite with Florence for a long awaited twirl around the dance floor, in Heaven.  We can hear all their favourite music playing from here.

Helen Kosteniuk aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away with peace and grace on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, surrounded by family, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  Helen was born July 23rd, 1930 in Wheatstone, Saskatchewan to the late George and Maria Apostol and was the baby of eight brothers and sisters.

Evelyn Audrey Suley (née: Janzen) aged 82 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, with her husband Murray and nephews Ken and Eldon Janzen at her side.  Evelyn was born on the family homestead in the Kelstern area on January 2nd, 1941 to Dietrich and Elizabeth Janzen.

On behalf of our family, it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bryan Gary Gilbert on Sunday, April 16th, 2023.  Dad passed peacefully with family at his side after a battle with cancer.

It is with deep sadness but many happy memories that we announce that Mrs. Inge Renate Marie Elisabeth Rininsland, beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend, passed away peacefully at West Park Crossing in Moose Jaw, SK on Friday, April 14th, 2023.

PERRY

Eileen Fern Perry passed away gracefully the morning of Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw, SK.  She was a loving mother, a caring grandmother, and was thrilled to recently become a great-grandmother.

Eileen was born December 8th, 1945 in Saskatoon, SK to Glenn and Magdalena (Lena) Hicks.  She was the 2nd child after her brother Glenn (Barry).  Lena remarried to Norman Hanke and Eileen became big sister to her twin brothers Don and Dale and her baby brother Ken.

JAMIE CHARLES SPIDLA

Jamie Charles Spidla was born on March 24th, 1981, in Moose Jaw, SK.  He suddenly left us on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at the age of 42 years.  Jamie is survived by his parents, Dennis and Brenda; sisters, Kelly (Brent) and Kerri (Brad); nieces and nephews: Shay and Reece Woods, Ella and Evan Bourhis.

NICHOLS

Sharon Darlene Nichols (née: Hamilton) passed away at Chateau St. Michael’s in Moose Jaw, SK on Saturday April 8th, 2023.  Sharon was born on October 13th, 1938 in Pense, Saskatchewan to the late J.G. and Olive Hamilton.  She was the widow of the late James Nichols, whom she married August 18th, 1962.  Jim passed away in 2011.
