Brown, Elizabeth (Betty) May, age 75, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away on January 1, 2023.  Betty is survived by her sister Dorothy Fife (Gil Fife); brother-in-law Art Spiker; sister-in-laws: Annette James, Mary Filion; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Brown; parents Harry and Florence James; brothers Gordon and Harry James; sisters: Jean Spiker, and Judy Longtin.  Betty was born in Chaplin, Saskatchewan on August 9, 1947.  She married Leonard Brown on August 25, 1973 in Chaplin, Saskatchewan.  Betty enjoyed cooking and worked in variou

With very heavy hearts, the family of Joseph “Joe” Ewanchook is saddened to announce his passing on November 29, 2022.  Joe was born December 2, 1940 in Swift Current to Harry and Catherine Ewanchook.  Joe was the fourth son of the family and is survived by his oldest brother Henry; daughters Katherine (David) Ast and Angela Ewanchook; very special friend Doreen Luciak; and grandchildren Naida and Brenden Ast, along with many nieces and nephews.  Joe was predeceased by his mother and father and brothers James and Peter.  Joe grew up and attended school in Swift Current and went on to work t
