(REVIEW) Jesus: A Deaf Missions Film is a history-making faith-based film about Jesus done entirely in American Sign Language that features one of the largest deaf film casts ever assembled — a movie made only more remarkable by the quality of the work itself.

Faith-based films are more prevalent than ever. Whether that’s the growing number of Christians entering the faith-based industry or the larger number of Hollywood filmmakers dealing explicitly with religious issues in their films, it's easier than ever to find films that affirm and celebrate religious worldviews with truth and beauty.  

Therefore, it seems like the perfect time to start an annual (hopefully) top ten list of faith-based films.

(REVIEW) Well-known Christian filmmaker Jon Erwin and friends have been on a bit of a kick in recent years to showcase the faith of the heroes of their youth. Erwin directed the documentary The Jesus Music about contemporary Christian music’s defining artists with his filmmaker brother. Erwin also directed the documentary Steve McQueen: American Icon with collaborator Ben Smallbone, based on the book of the same name by Harvest Church pastor and author Greg Laurie.

As the Sep. 2 release date of Amazon Prime’s controversial series Rings of Power nears, fan anticipation is building immensely. The show is meant to be a prequel to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, set during The Second Age which resulted in Sauron’s rise to power.
