It isn't every day that an orchestra shows up on your doorstep. But for students at three schools in Winnipeg, that is exactly what happened earlier this week. 

"Up Close and Orchestral" had the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra performing in the gymnasiums at Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute, John W. Gunn Middle School, and Fort Richmond Collegiate.

Tomorrow night at 7:30 at the Crescent Arts Centre the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra will present a concert that features the music of Glenn Buhr, Arvo Part, and Aaron Copland.

A homegrown Canadian premiere and a musical celebrated the world over will feature under the iconic dome of Rainbow Stage in 2024. 

This week, the Desautels Chamber Opera Group presents Nico Muhly’s 'Dark Sisters.'

Keen eared listeners might have noticed the return of a piano to the Classic 107 studio. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been treated to a number of 107 LIVE! performances utilizing the new in-studio digital Kawaii CA49. 

Classic 107's longest running literary segment continues with Chris Hall of McNally Robinson Booksellers returning to the studio the first Friday of November.

No matter the weather, ‘Raine or Schein’ promises to shed new light on rarely heard works of a German Baroque master and celebrate the singular stylings of a prairie songstress.
