Linda Marjorie Oswald

Linda Marjorie Oswald (nee Wutke) age 73 years and 5 months passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 27th, 2024, at the Neepawa Health Centre.

Linda was born on August 13th, 1950, in Gladstone, Manitoba to parents Walter and Lydia Wutke. Linda was received as a child of God in Holy Baptism on September 10th, 1950, at the Zion Lutheran Church in the Tupper district. She was confirmed in this faith on November 14, 1965, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Plumas, Manitoba.

Helen Friesen

Helen Friesen (nee Wieler), daughter of Henry and Aganetha Wieler (nee Penner) was born on February 22, 1936, in the Stanley Municipality. The family lived at Blumstein, MB till 1950, at which time they moved to a farm north of Austin. Being the second oldest in a family with 13 younger siblings afforded her many opportunities to provide childcare, acquiring and using homemaking skills, and carrying huge responsibilities needed to care for such a large family.

Herman Dyck

Herman Dyck at the age of 83 went home to be with Jesus on December 30th at the Portage and District General Hospital surrounded by his family.


Herman was born in Rosthern, SK on July 7th, 1940 to John W. and Agatha Dyck. He accepted Christ and met the love of his life Frances Friesen in 1961 despite surviving a life threatening accident that same year. In 1962, Herman & Frances got married and shortly after became parents to 4 daughters. The family moved several times and called Manitoba home whilst dairy farming.

Irene Elizebeth (nee Squires) passed away peacefully with her son Glen by her side at 4:30am

Irene was born March 5, 1938 to Percy and Dorthy Squires in Molesworth district. Mom was one of 9 children born .

It is with great sadness that we would like to announce the passing of our mother Mary Wiebe in the presence of her family, on Friday, May 26th at the Douglas Campbell Lodge in Portage la Prairie.

Mom was born on November 4, 1924 in the Green Farm District NE of Winkler, Manitoba to John and Maria Hildebrand. Mom was the 5th of 11 children and in her early years attended Green Farm School. After grade 7 it was necessary to stay home and help with chores and other duties as well as tend to her younger siblings.

                Michelle was born on September 10, 1986 in Portage la Prairie, MB to her parents Leonard & Jennifer Friesen.

                Michelle grew up on her parent’s farm near Austin, MB. She was a bubbly, energetic little girl who loved to play being a “mom”. She had the opportunity to be a big sister to three younger brothers, as well as many foster siblings, especially Paul, William, and Nate.
