Drug trafficking, break-and-enter, theft among recent EPS arrests

The Estevan Police Service reported several matters from Thursday to Saturday including charges against five people.

The lists of calls for each day are as follows:

Saturday

Police attended a three vehicle collision at King St. and Bannatyne Avenue this afternoon.  All three vehicles were drivable. EMS and Estevan Fire Rescue were dispatched as a precaution.  There were no injured and the cause into the collision remains under investigation.

UPDATE: Missing Estevan Man Found Deceased

UPDATE: The Calgary Police Service reported that Kolby Fleury was found deceased. 

In a statement, CPS added that his death was not criminal in nature and that no further information will be released. 

They are thanking the public for the assistance in locating Fleury.


The Calgary Police Service is looking for a man with roots in Estevan.

Near-zero visibility on the highways Monday morning

Environment Canada has fog advisories in effect across southeastern Saskatchewan and through southern Manitoba, as of 5 a.m. Monday.

The alert, issued Sunday night, says fog is causing near-zero visibility, which can create "hazardous" driving conditions.

"If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead, and be prepared to stop."

The province's Highway Hotline is reporting reduced visibility for stretches of highway in the region.

July residential fire leads to arson charge

The Estevan Police Service reported Thursday that one person has been charged criminally following an investigation into a July 7, 2023 fire at a 4th Street residence.

Police did not identify the person because of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
