Okotoks exciting playoff run comes to an end
OKOTOKS, AB (Apr. 2, 2023) — The Okotoks Oilers gave it all they had but ultimately fell to the Brooks Bandits by a 3–1 score in Game 6 of their AJHL South Division semifinal series.
Sunday’s game saw a record-breaking crowd of 2,070 fans pack Okotoks Centennial Arena. The 50/50 pot surged all the way up to $14,450 — another new club record.

Hellyer cues comeback as Okotoks Oilers pick up road win
CANMORE, AB (January 11, 2023) — Conyr Hellyer (Okotoks, AB) scored twice, including the game-winner, as the Okotoks Oilers got a 27-save performance from goalie Parker Sawka (Cochrane, AB) en route to a 3-1 win over the Eagles in Canmore on Wednesday night.
The Oilers came back from a 1-0 first period deficit to get the win, moving 2 points up on Blackfalds for second place in the AJHL South, with still a game in hand on the Bulldogs.
