New car dealership application approved by city council
A new car dealership is coming to Moose Jaw.
The lot at 80 Manitoba Street East was originally the location for Band City Auto Sales. Since their move to 31 Thatcher Drive, the lot has been vacant.
Since the lot had been empty for longer than twelve months, the City had to go through the application process once again.
Councillor Jamey Logan was heavily in favour of the opening of a new car dealership.

The last OCP was written in 2001 and approved in 2011. The provincial government has flagged the City's OCP for an upgrade, as there were policies improperly outlined in the 2001 edition.
Michelle Sanson, Director of Planning and Development, has taken on the project.
"We're really excited to get this project underway and engage the community."
