Levi Heinrichs passed away peacefully at the Special Care Home in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan., on May 28, 2024, at the age of 97 years. Levi was born on April 7, 1927, on the family farm NW-22-14-06 W3 Shamrock, Saskatchewan. He was the eighth of ten children born to Peter and Susanna Heinrichs. He attended Bolingbroke School, walking two and a half miles each day with his siblings and neighbourhood friends, braving the elements with a resilience that marked his entire life.

On January 7, 2024, at the Meadows, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family, the Lord welcomed Mom, Jean Florence Straub to her Heavenly Home, where she was reunited with Art.

Jean was born July 30 1939 in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan to Peter and Adele Miller. Jean was the oldest of three girls. Jean grew up on the farm in the Glen Bain area. Jean attended school at Malty, Glen Bain and Gravelbourg.

Carl Lyle Singbeil

Carl Lyle Singbeil was born on October 2nd, 1956, to his parents Donny and Betty.  He grew up on the family farm west of Mossbank and developed a love of curling, baseball and agriculture. After high school graduation in 1974, he followed his passion for farming and enrolled at the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in Agronomy. Carl had the time of his life as an Agro, meeting many lifelong friends, and most importantly, meeting the love of his life, Kathy.

Rylan Desnoyers

Sadly on June 23, 2023, Rylan Desnoyers, beloved son of Dara Cowan and Joseph Desnoyers, passed away unexpectantly at the age of 12 years old. Rylan was born on August 27, 2010, in Moose Jaw. For the first few years of his life, he was a quiet little boy who was very happy to just listen to his older brother and watch others. Then all of a sudden at the age of 4, he came out of his shell, and became a charming personality who just loved being with others. While living at Coderre, he received his schooling at the Ecole Gravelbourg School.

Laura Balas (nee Anderson)

It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Pearl Balas (nee Anderson) of Aneroid, SK, announces her passing on May 3, 2023.

A Celebration of Laura’s life will be held at the Aneroid Community Hall in Aneroid, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 1 o’clock.
