David Sinclair McBurney
July 26, 1946 – August 27, 2025

David Sinclair McBurney, aged 79 years, passed away in Portage la Prairie on August 27, 2025.

Peacefully on June 13, 2024, Kenneth “Ken” Bowman passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 86 years.

George Kenji Otsuji passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 81.

A Service of Love and Remembrance in celebration of George Otsuji will be held on Tuesday, May 07, 2024, 1:00 pm at Newton Fellowship Church. Laughter and tears are encouraged. His friend, Bob Enns will officiate. Internment of the cremains will prelude the service at Oakville Cemetery.

Andre Lucien Joseph Landry

Audrey Darlene Klippenstein (nee Giesbrecht)

It is with profound sorrow, that the family of Audrey Klippenstein announces her passing, peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre on March 29, 2024.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Valerie “Val” Nelson’s passing on January 15, 2024, in Brandon, MB. Val was born on December 6, 1977, in Winnipeg and called Portage la Prairie home.

Edna Dorathy Rintoul (nee Dietrich)

Peacefully on January 5, 2024, Edna Rintoul passed away at home with family by her side after a lengthy illness at the age of 89 years.

Edna was predeceased by her husband Melvin Rintoul, son Barry Lylyk and granddaughter Lindsey Morris. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Connie (Terry) Morris and Colleen (Pat) Paquin, daughter-in-law Debbie Lylyk and their families. She will also be missed by her sister Joyce Wagner, Melvin Rintoul’s family, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Bertha Yvonne Puddicombe (nee Bakala)

With her family by her side Bertha Puddicombe passed away on December 29, 2023 at Portage District General Hospital at the age of 76 years.

Ann SAMELS DUNCAN (nee ZUK) passed away peacefully at the impressive age of 100 surrounded by her loving family in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Ann lived a very full life and was glowing and joking until her final days. She was very proud of reaching the age of 100 and 7.5 months! Ann had a great sense of humour and a memory like no other, even for her over 20 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
