Daniel Joseph George McCormick aged 82 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025.  Dan was born in Valleyfield, Quebec on January 12th, 1942, to Angus and Rose McCormick.  He had been residing at Providence Place for the past 10 months.

Dan leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Marsha; his precious children, Coleen and Jeff; his special daughter-in-law, Aileen; and his grandson, Cameron, with whom Dan had such an outstanding bond.

Galileo Bao Zamora aged 66 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, January 4th, 2025.  The family would like to thank the nurse at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital and at Home Care for the wonderful care provided to Galileo.

DOUGLAS WAYNE MAES

1956 - 2025

Douglas Wayne Maes aged 68 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, surrounded by family. 

Doug was born December 31st, 1956, in London, Ontario, and he always said the whole world celebrated his birthday.  Doug grew up on a farm in Mt Brydges, where he learned the value of hard work and giving back.  He went on to own and manage WINMAR Chatham, Moose Jaw and Yorkton.  WINMAR was his second family, and his knowledge and support were invaluable. 

Herbert Laverne Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert Laverne Smith on Friday, December 27th, 2024, with his three boys at his side. 

Born on August 25th, 1937, in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, to parents Harold and Ethel, Herb was the youngest of five.  His big sisters Leona, Norma, and Dorothy often spoiled him, sometimes to the chagrin of his big brother Harvey.  Herb always valued spending time with his family, especially as it grew and grew.

Thomas Gerald Wilson aged 73 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, December 29th, 2024.  Gerry was born in Davidson, SK where he would spend the first couple weeks of his life due to a terrible snowstorm, which his mother, Dorothy, was sure to remind him of any year there was a bad March.

DOUGLAS “CRAIG” KNOX

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend, Douglas Craig Knox on Saturday, December 21st, 2024.

Craig was born in Moose Jaw, SK on April 13th, 1972, and grew up on a farm near Briercrest, SK.  After graduating from high school, Craig enrolled in the Civil Engineering program at SIAST.  He worked at Clifton Engineering, Potters, as a truck driver and an Operator at Nachurs Alpine Solutions.
