Police searching for stolen BMW
Warman RCMP and Corman Park Police have been patrolling in the area around Hague as a stolen blue 2011 BMW 328XI station wagon was seen by an officer. The vehicle license plate is 701 MUH Saskatchewan.
The vehicle fled upon seeing the police and was last seen east bound on grid 785 from Hague. One male suspect was observed in the suspect.
Pokice are aksing anyone who sees this vehicle to call 310-RCMP or 911 in an emergency and report the vehicle's location.
Rosthern lottery winner cashes in
Another close-to-home lottery winner proves it pays to play.
Rosthern’s Jennifer Roth was prompted to check her LOTTO 6/49 ticket after finding out about another Saskatchewan winner. When Roth checked her April 29 draw ticket, she discovered she was $100,000 richer.
“I read about a winner in Saskatchewan and thought, ‘Wouldn’t that be nice?’” she said while claiming her prize in Saskatoon. “It’s very nice!”
Province celebrates mining week

Local Company fined by Provincial Government
On May 15, 2023, Hergott Electric Ltd. pleaded guilty in Saskatoon Provincial Court to one violation of The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 1996.
The company was fined for contravening clause 12(a) of the regulations (being an employer at a place of employment, fail to provide and maintain plant, systems of work and working environments that ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of the employer's workers, resulting in the serious injury of a worker). One other charge was withdrawn.
15U Dodgers launch into a successful weekend
The Humboldt 15U Dodgers had another strong showing this past Saturday with stellar pitching efforts by Michael Moorman, Rowan Schindelka, Kruze Craven and Camden Suchan as they downed the Battlefords Beavers in both games of a double header. Both games were close affairs as the Dodgers took the first game 3-2 and the second 8-7
It's time to be bear aware
The Government of Saskatchewan is reminding residents that it is that time of the year to be bear aware.
Black bears can be found throughout the province, and are most commonly spotted in northern Saskatchewan forests, but their range extends southward into the aspen parkland and into other areas including the Touchwood Hills, the Qu'Appelle Valley, and the South Saskatchewan River Valley.

Flintknapping workshop set for Original Humboldt
For those interested in archaeology, natural history and Indigenous culture, an exciting opportunity is coming up in June.
The City of Humboldt Department of Cultural Services, in partnership with Saskatchewan Archaeological Society, will present a flintknapping workshop at Original Humboldt on Saturday, June 24. This is an opportunity to learn the basics of flintknapping – the art of stone tool making.
UPDATE: RCMP looking for suspect walking on Highway 2
RCMP has provided an update and says the suspect was located with the assistance of Police Dog Services and officers from Craik, Watrous, Lumsden, and Traffic Services.
The stolen vehicle has also been recovered.
