Anthony (Tony) Charles Kreutzer
Tony was born on January 5, 1966, at Fort Qu’Appelle Saskatchewan. After a brief time living at Goodeve, Saskatchewan, the family moved to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where Tony attended Sacred Heart School and Vanier High School.
Tony enjoyed family camping excursions and a few vacations to parts of the USA with his ‘little brother’ and Mom and Dad. After 1980, he loved to spend time at their cottage on Echo Lake swimming, fishing, waterskiing and BBQ’s on the patio. He also hunted occasionally and, if the hunt was successful he would make sausage. Golf was another passion. However, due to an accident in 2019 which required surgery, which was delayed due to COVID, and as a consequence the use of his arm was affected making it impossible to pursue golfing any longer.
On February 23, 2023, Tony underwent surgery at the Regina General Hospital to remove a brain tumor. The surgery was successful but it was determined to be cancer with little hope of survival.
A special ‘Thank you’ to Dr. Jamie Stushnoff at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital for the care you gave Tony. To Tony’s friends, I know he would like to thank you for being there for him …. In the fun times AND the NOT so fun times.
A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held at a later date. In living memory of Anthony, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (Obituaries).
