He was predeceased by his father, Andre Claude; sisters, Dianne McCallum, Colette Daer; nieces, Corry Clauson, Andrea Daer and Jodi Kobialka.

Sandra Mann, late of Grand Forks, BC and formerly of White Bear First Nations, SK passed away at Trail, BC on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the age of 79 years.
The Wake will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. with the Traditional Feast and Funeral to be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Both service will be held at the White Bear Community Hall, White Bear First Nations, SK with Elder Peter Bigstone officiating.

Kenneth Walter Tressel

Kenneth Walter Tressel aged 94 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7th, 2025.  Ken was born on January 15th, 1931 in Duff, SK to Leonard and Millie Tressel, the 5th child in a family of 12.  Ken married Iris Schick on November 27th, 1954 and they welcomed two sons, Merv and Doug.

Ruth Thiessen nee Unrau, 71, of Winkler formerly of Rosenfeld, passed away Tuesday, September 9th at her residence. She is survived by her husband Dave, 2 daughters, 1 son, and their families.  
A memorial service for Ruth Thiessen nee Unrau will be held Monday, September 15th at 2pm at Winkler Mennonite Church with burial prior to the service at 12:30pm at Westridge Memorial Gardens.  
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler Sunday, September 14th from 1 to 7pm.

Marilyn Scutt (Hill) née: Ward passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025.

Predeceased by her first husband Lyman and her second husband Harold, Marilyn is survived by her children Richard, Mary and David, her two sisters Pam and Margaret, her grandchildren Daniel, Aaron, Kristi, Rachel, Joel, McKenna and Casey, her daughters-in-law Tana and Tammie, her granddaughter-in-law Laura, and her first great-grandchild who is due this winter.

Patricia Gayle Day

Patricia Gayle Day (nee McPherson) was born in Lethbridge, AB on June 10, 1944, second of five children to William “Gordon” and Jessie “Leona” (Sloan) McPherson. Her Dad was originally from Govan, SK, but was temporarily stationed in Lethbridge in the Air Force during World War II, which is where he met her Mum. After the war, they moved to Spalding area into a two-room log cabin and then to the McPherson farm three miles south of Spalding. They had a mixed operation where everyone had their chores before and after school.
