A 20-year-old man charged with attempted murder will return to Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Dec. 19.

Dillon Peeace faces charges stemming from an alleged machete attack that took place in downtown Moose Jaw on Sept. 28.

In court on Tuesday, lawyer Andrew Hitchcock appeared via telephone as agent for Peeace’s lawyer Brian Pfefferle to request the adjournment to Judge David Chow. Hitchcock told the court he did not have details as to why Pfefferle was requesting the adjournment.

Along with attempted murder, Peeace faces several other outstanding charges including failing to appear in court, causing a disturbance, resisting arrest, breaking and entering and uttering threats.
