One person has died following the two-vehicle crash on Highway 75, 1 km north of Letellier, this morning.
According to Manitoba RCMP, investigators have determined that a southbound vehicle entered the ditch between the north and south bound lanes of the highway and came out in the north lane where it collided head-on with a northbound semi.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, whom RCMP have yet to identify, was pronounced deceased on scene.
The 33-year-old male driver of the semi-trailer, from Springfield, Oregon, was transported to hospital where he was treated and released.
Emerson RCMP, along with an RCMP Forensic collision reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
