Humboldt’s downtown welcomed the seasonal spirit once again with a pair of special visits on Saturday.
At the Humboldt and District Museum, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus dropped by for a visit to meet all the kids and find out all about their Christmas wishes. The Museum had colouring and craft activities for the kids as they waited their turn for a visit with the Jolly Old Elf. Both Santa and Mrs. Claus were in great spirits and happy to be back in Humboldt. They’ll be making return visits for the next few Saturdays.
Across the street at the Humbolt and District Gallery, the sweet sounds of Dale Avison’s clarinet filled the space at the Festival of Wreaths. Tucked amidst all the wonderful winter items on which to bid, Dale played, armed with plenty of festive notes to help put visitors in a holiday mood.
