One sent to hospital after RCMP catch four illegally crossing near Emerson

Manitoba RCMP is once again underscoring the potentially deadly effects of winter weather after four people were caught illegally crossing the Canada/U.S. border near Emerson during Saturday morning's stormy conditions. 
    
Police got the call around 7:15 am and found all four men they say had been attempting to cross north into Canada. One of the men was brought to hospital with serious injuries related to the weather.
    
Officers completed additional patrols along the border and no one else was located. 
    
Having previously discussed the safety concerns of illegal crossings during inclement weather, RCMP urges people to cross safely at the ports of entry.
