One person was transported to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Winkler Monday afternoon.
The accident also caused minor damage to a house.
Winkler Police and EMS were called to the scene at the corner of Pineview Drive and Pembina Avenue just after 1:30 pm.
Police report one of the vehicles was traveling east on Pembina Avenue approaching Pineview Drive when a southbound vehicle entered the intersection before it was safe to do so. The eastbound vehicle was unable to stop in time due to icy road conditions and the two vehicles collided.
After the collision, the southbound vehicle veered off the roadway and struck the house on the southeast corner of the intersection.
