The province has seen a dramatic drop in COVID-19 enforcement tickets over the past four weeks.

More than a dozen COVID-19 tickets were issued last week totalling $22,856. This includes:

  • nine $1,296 tickets to individuals, eight of which are in relation to gatherings in private residences or outdoors
  • four $298 tickets to an individual for failure to wear a mask in an indoor public place
  • two $5,000 tickets to Winnipeg businesses

Enforcement issued 57 warnings after receiving 4,661 conference calls.

This is a stark contrast to one month ago when 108 tickets and 96 warnings were issued. Over the past month, COVID-19 enforcement tickets have decreased along with the eased Public Health Orders.
