New cases include:
- 18 new cases in the Interlake–Eastern health region
- 14 new cases in the Winnipeg health region
- five new cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region
- three new cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region
- two new cases in the Northern health region
Manitoba's five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 3.4 per cent. Winnipeg's five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 3.1 per cent.
After a data correction, there is a total of 57,028 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Manitoba, with 54,891 recoveries. There are 973 active cases.
A Winnipeg woman in her 70s linked to an unspecified variant of concern has died. This brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 1,164.
Hospitalizations
Two Manitobans remain in ICU care in Ontario.
In Manitoba, there are 126 people, including 43 people in hospitals in Manitoba with active cases and 83 people who are no longer infectious.
Of the Manitoba hospitalizations, 29 people are receiving ICU care. Nine people have active cases and 20 people are no longer infectious.
