A major collision that closed the Southbound Deerfoot Trail ramp at Memorial Trail Drive Northeast has been cleared.
There were reports that one individual was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition after a collision with a C-train. Police have since confirmed that the individual has died.

Earlier in the day, the incident was blocking the Southbound Deerfoot Trail lane, as well as the Eastbound Memorial Drive left lanes.
