The lawyer for a man accused of attempted murder said they were not in a position to move forward with a bail hearing at Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday.
Kyle Peeace appeared via video with his lawyer Nick Brown appearing over the telephone.
Peeace had dismissed his previous lawyer and was going to represent himself until Brown was hired. He said disclosure was just sent from the correctional facility and contained video evidence that he would need to run the show cause hearing.
Brown added that they are also trying to work out an approved address where Peeace could live if released.
Brown asked for an adjournment to Feb. 29, which was approved by Judge Brian Hendrickson.
Peeace is co-accused with his brother Dillon on attempted murder charges following an alleged machete attack that took place on Sept. 28 in downtown Moose Jaw.
