An incident involving a school bus that was previously reported to be in the ditch on the QEII, northbound, in the vicinity of the Stoney Trail turn-off and Balzac; has since been cleared.

It appears that there were no students on board. Further north, a multi-vehicle collision northbound on the QEII, at the junction of Highway 27, near Olds has also been cleared.

Road conditions on the QEII towards Calgary have been reported to be partly covered in snow, with black ice and icy sections. Motorists have reported multiple cars in the ditch along the QEII corridor, both northbound and southbound of Airdrie.

The continued hazardous road conditions have prompted Alberta RCMP to warn motorists against unnecessary travel

Airdrie's local forecast is predicting upwards of four more centimetres to accumulate throughout the day, with light snow continuing Thursday night. Friday will also see snow, while the weekend will see a chance of flurries and snow on Saturday evening.
