The 2021 Kenora Bass International is set to begin today, as anglers from all over compete to be crowned this year's KBI champion.

The tournament officially kicks off today through Saturday, August 5, 2021.

The official start time daily by flights will be 6:30 a.m, with the official weigh-in taking place under the Whitecap Pavilion at 4:00 p.m. today and tomorrow and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday following the final weigh-in, the top 10 anglers will be included in a boat parade at 5:00 p.m., and at 6:00 p.m. the 33rd annual awards and prize presentations will be made under the Whitecap Pavilion.

Due to COVID-19, KBI is not allowing any in-person spectators this year, but people can view and keep track of the event on the KBI Facebook page and Youtube channel.

KBI winners will walk away with a check of up to $30,000.

The 2019 winners were captain Jon O’Connor and partner Byron Sharp who came in with a 3-day haul of 55.79 pounds.
