Everything old is new again, says Jennifer Fitzpatrick, director of the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery. That explains the return of macrame, a mainstay of 1970’s craft culture, and an associated workshop at the Gallery.

“You can make a vintage inspired macrame wall hanging at the Gallery on Saturday, April 20 for only $20 per person,” says Fitzpatrick. “Spots are filling up fast, so call in to get your spot today.”

Don’t forget about the special open house on Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Gallery to celebrate the amazing talents of local teen artists with their display of works on the second floor. Enjoy refreshments while reviewing these great works.

To register for the macrame session, connect with the Gallery at (306) 682-5226 or email info@humboldtmuseum.ca.
