A serious injury collision that had shut down a portion of Stoney Trail in Calgary's Northeast has since been cleared.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Calgary police advised motorists to find an alternate route as Stoney Trail was closed in both directions from McKnight Boulevard Northeast., to 96 Avenue Northeast.
There are no details on the extent of injuries or what caused the collision.
