The Dryden Fall Fair is back in action with a new motto and tons of family fun.

The fair kicks off tomorrow with the gates opening at 12:00 p.m. and runs through until Saturday.

“We have lots going on. One of the big changes for this year is, unfortunately, we were unable to secure a midway to come in, but we have everything else that our fair would normally have, so three full days of activities, entertainment and of course all of the animals to go with that,” said Lisa Koshel Dryden and District Agricultural Society Board of Directors Member

The annual Dryden Fall Fair Parade will take place on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and travel through town, and following the parade, there will be the official opening ceremonies of the fair.

Koshel added that the fair will have something for everyone if it's all-day live entertainment, laser tag and bouncy castles for the kids, or exposure to animals.

The agricultural side of the fair will be showcased this weekend as the kids will be showing off their beef projects at the 4-H Beef Club Achievement Day on Friday with the auction following later that night.

Along with the cattle show, various other animals will be at the fair including a horse show, a lesson on how to ride a horse, and much more.

The fair’s motto this year is “Back To The Farm” after the COVID-19 pandemic forced the fair to shut its doors last year.

“Our fair has been running for over 100 years in Dryden and really unprecedented for us to have to take a year off. It gave us an opportunity to consider how we were going to do things a little differently and to refocus on our roots, which of course with all the fall fairs is agriculture, so getting back to the farm means getting back to our roots,” said  Koshel

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for members, $4 for those 65 & over, and 16 & under is free.
