Active cases of COVID-19 in Grande Prairie near 500

As of August 29, 2021 the City of Grande Prairie has 476 active cases of COVID-19, and the County of Grande Prairie has 190 cases.

Cases of COVID-19 across the rest of the province also continue to climb. Alberta now has 11,426 active cases of the virus. 

Hospitalizations have risen to 401, and a total of 98 Albertans are in intensive care receiving treatment. 

As of August 29, 2021,

• 5,551,932 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered
• 77.9% of Albertans 12+ with at least one dose
• 69.7% of Albertans 12+ fully vaccinated

Grande Prairie vaccination numbers have increased to 49.6% immunized with at least one dose, and 48.3% in the County of Grande Prairie.
