Slight drop in active COVID-19 cases in Grande Prairie, currently at 477

As of August 31, 2021 the City of Grande Prairie has 477 active cases of COVID-19, and the County of Grande Prairie has 186 cases.

Cases of COVID-19 across the rest of the province sit at 12,290 active cases. 

Hospitalizations are currently at 465, and a total of 107 Albertans are in intensive care receiving treatment. 

Vaccination data are up-to-date as of end of day August 31, 2021

• 5,566,535 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Alberta
• 78.1 percent of 12+ population has received at least one dose (66.4% total population)
• 69.9 percent of 12+ population fully vaccinated (59.5% total population)

Grande Prairie vaccination numbers are now at 43.1% fully immunized, and 42.4% in the County of Grande Prairie.
