Other closures motorists should watch for
With the closure of 24th Street having already begun and lasting till due to the construction of a two-lane undivided roadway north of Reunion, motorists should be aware of several other key road and lane closures this month.
Beginning this July and lasting till September 20, a two-phase deep utility installation will impact Flett Drive. The temporary road closure is meant to accommodate the construction in the area, and thus far the city has provided two tentative dates. The first phase will begin July 2 and last till August 9, while the second phase will last till September 20.
Also in early July, and until the end of August, there will be a temporary lane closure on Erin Drive to accommodate deep utility rehabilitation.
