Lindsay Good Obituary
1929 ~ 2024 (age 94)
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the loss of Lindsay Pate Good, who passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 5, 2024, at the age of 94. Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife of 60 years, Mary; daughters, Laura and Joanne (Tony); daughter-in-law, Cindy; grandchildren Livia, Nicholas, Kurtis, Lindsay, Christopher, and Ashlynn; sister, Mary; brother, David (Judy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lindsay goes to join those who went before him, including his son, James; sister, Jean; and brother, Wallace (Myrna). Lindsay was a beloved figure in his family, who embodied the roles of a devoted husband, father, and grandfather with unwavering love and care. He had an infectious sense of humour, finding playful joy in teasing his grandchildren and sharing laughter with loved ones. Beyond his family life, Lindsay was a skilled handyman, renowned for his ability to fix anything, particularly cars. He was an avid reader of the newspaper. He found happiness in tending to his garden and found contentment in the little things in life. Lindsay also had an adventurous spirit, finding joy in travelling, with Scotland holding a special place in his heart. He was also dedicated to the Royal Canadian Legion, in honour of his father. He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
